We had a phenomenal time on the ground in Virgin Gorda for our first Link Up to Level Up stop! It was incredibly powerful to hear directly from the youth about the real ways the Ministry can support, from needed fixes at the basketball court to better access to physical community spaces and so much more.

This evening, we're back on Tortola and invite all the disruptors to shake up the space in the place in the best possible way, with action! 💥

We’ll be reviewing the issues brought up so far and narrowing them down to three main priority areas for the department to tackle first. Come ready to share, brainstorm, and be a part of the change you want to see.

History has been made, and the trophies have been claimed!

What an absolutely unforgettable conclusion to the revived Inter-Primary Softball Championship! This tournament has been a roaring success, proving that the revival of grassroots sports in the Virgin Islands is well underway.

The energy in the stands was unmatched, but the real magic happened on the diamond. These children showed incredible potential, bringing their absolute A-game, mastering new skills, and learning the true meaning of teamwork and sportsmanship in real-time.

A massive congratulations to our historic top three finishers:

1st Place CHAMPIONS: Joyce Samuel Primary School! 🥇

2nd Place: Ebenezer Thomas Primary School! 🥈

3rd Place: Francis Lettsome Primary School! 🥉

Every single school that stepped onto the field this weekend should be immensely proud. Seeing how much these athletes grew in just two days has us incredibly excited. We are already counting down the days and cannot wait to see the immense progress they bring to the next one.

This morning marked an incredible milestone for youth sports as we officially launched the Inter-Primary Softball Championship! It was a powerful reminder that it is truly a good day to be alive in the Virgin Islands when we see the revival of softball in our territory. 🇻🇬

This tournament represents a deliberate investment in youth and sports development. This diamond has historically transitioned young BVI athletes into massive collegiate and professional careers and today, a whole new generation takes its first steps toward those same big dreams.

A massive thank you to the Ministry staff, the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Virgin Islands Softball-Baseball Association, the umpires, and especially the phenomenal PE teachers who have worked tirelessly to get these kits into our schools and prepare these teams!

The competition is fierce, the schools are hungry for the title, and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top. Let’s play ball! 🏆⚾

We had an amazing turnout for the launch of the Link Up to Level Up tour. We talked about a whole lot, diving deep into the real barriers you face and what's needed to scale your industries. Thank you to every young creator, innovator, and entrepreneur who stepped into the room.
