The fundamental right to free and fair elections is guaranteed to all legal American citizens by our Constitution. We must put an end to all illegal voting and election fraud so that Texans have true election integrity.

Whenever constituents show up to the Capitol, I try to drop whatever I am working on to meet with them. During our meeting, we collectively reviewed the Save James Act bill that I filed, which would criminalize the gender transition of children.

It was a privilege to tour a group home in HD 91 and the adjoining daytime activity center for adults with disabilities. We explored the variety of services they provide, the community they assist, and the obstacles facing the group home industry both in HD 91 and across Texas. The most memorable part of our visit was the opportunity to meet some of the remarkable individuals they care for.

Today was focused on addressing issues of corrections and rehabilitation. I met with a woman whose son passed away in a Texas prison, and we engaged in discussions with the Texas Civil Commitment Commission. My goal is to prevent habitual predators from harming even one more child.

We must ensure that the money in the Robinhood program is ACTUALLY being used to help schools and Texas students.

My bill, HB 2796 will ensure these funds can only be used for teacher salaries and classroom instruction. Having complete transparency with Texas taxpayers' money is critical!
