Have you got a window full of happy plants? We love green here at the Estate! And our guests love all the plants we have inside and out! They are a LOT of work, but so worth it - just like people!! And I thought about how different all my green- thumbed daughters are!
My youngest likes plants full and healthy and does all she can to keep them that way. My middle daughter loves to start plants from seeds and clippings, and tries hard to make sure what grows is beneficial in every way. My oldest can't leave Lowe's without a dead and dying clearance discard, and brings them back to their original glory. My daughter-in-law loves when plants provide a great syrup or jelly - and they are delicious! I am thankful for how perfectly these plants and my daughters are made by a loving God. Most of the plants eventually get a flower, too. Added blessings.....

2023! What does this year hold? That is up to my dear Lord Jesus, but we are so thankful for all that we have! Family, friends old and new and a home we long dearly to share as much as we can!
This year is starting out in an incredible way! We are fully booked for January, and this weekend hosted a wonderful vintner and his family from New Jersey making a wine tour of his own through Virginia and North Carolina.
We look forward to all the guests who booked a stay here or have a special event coming up, and to all who are looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to make memories! This is the place where people come together! Come stay with us!

Tour Time! Please join us on Saturday December 11 from 4-7 pm as we open the doors of the Historic Kapps Mill Estate and Mill in Dobson, NC.
The house will be all decked out for the holidays and as well as enjoying cookies and hot chocolate by the fire, we've added a photo op display at the gazebo and a variety of artisans to purchase one of a kind gifts..
