MOST WANTED FUGITIVE WITH 19 CASES CAPTURED IN PASAY OPERATION
The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced the arrest of a national-level Most Wanted Person during a law enforcement operation conducted on March 10, 2026, at the basement parking area of a mall in Pasay City.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, in coordination with local police units, served multiple warrants of arrest against the suspect, a male suspect listed among the DILG’s National Level Most Wanted Persons, with a ₱400,000.00 reward for his capture.
The suspect is facing 19 criminal cases before various Regional Trial Courts, including syndicated estafa, large-scale swindling, and violations of securities laws. Several of the cases carry no bail recommended.
Authorities said the arrest was carried out without incident after careful monitoring and coordination among operating units.
PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating teams for the successful operation and emphasized the organization’s relentless pursuit of fugitives.
“Kahit gaano pa katagal o saan pa magtago ang mga wanted persons, hahanapin at hahanapin sila ng ating kapulisan,” said PGEN Nartatez.
He added that the arrest demonstrates the PNP’s continued commitment to ensuring that those accused of serious crimes face justice.
“This accomplishment reflects the dedication of our investigators and operating units across the country. Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang paghahanap sa mga wanted persons upang mapanagot sila sa batas at mabigyan ng hustisya ang mga biktima,” PGEN Nartatez added.
The suspect is currently under police custody while awaiting the issuance of a commitment order from the court.
The PNP said the successful operation forms part of its intensified campaign against fugitives in line with the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, and supports the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in strengthening peace and order across the country.
The police organization reaffirmed that such operations will continue nationwide as it advances its commitment to “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
