Here is the truth, abortion rights are working class rights and sabotaging working class movements for rights protections is an MO of conservatives and fascists. Right-wingers have always infiltrated and taken advantage of working class movements for their own benefit. If you have ever encountered the so-called “progressive” at pro-choice rallies, you will have recognized their parroting of conservative anti-abortion, “pro-life” rhetoric. They are simply a conservative mouthpiece in the guise of an allegedly “progressive” organization.
You cannot claim to be a progressive when spouting regressive ideals. , like any other conservative pro-lifers, do not care if pregnancy endangers the lives of people capable of bearing children. Claiming to be a progressive organization while actively antagonizing the working class by working to deny their rights is the very definition of hypocrisy and a danger to working class solidarity, leftist unity, and the united front.
