Sa ilalim ng Safe Spaces Act, ang anumang anyo ng gender-based sexual harassment ay mahigpit na ipinagbabawal at may kaukulang parusa. Hindi dahil nasa loob ng trabaho ay maaari ng maging kampante sa mga "biro" o kilos. Tandaan na ang mga unwelcome remarks, malalaswang komento, o anumang gawain na nakakasira sa dignidad ng isang tao ay malinaw na paglabag sa batas.

Siguraduhin nating ang ating workplace ay isang safe space para sa lahat!

Abril 22, 2026—Pagdalo ng Delegasyon ng Bayan ng Tagkawayan sa "Quezon Province-Wide Orientation on Child Budget and Expenditure Tagging and Tracking" (CBETT) sa Lucena, City.

Kinabibilangan ang delegasyon ng Municipal Council for the Protection of Children and Local Finance Committee.

Layunin ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon katuwang ang mga stakeholders na paghusayin pa ang paglalaan, pagpapatupad at monitoring ng pondo na inilalaan ng mg LGUs para sa mga bata sa ating lipunan.

Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11313 o Safe Spaces Act, karapatan ng bawat isa na maging ligtas at protektado laban sa anumang uri ng gender-based sexual harassment (GBSH), offline man o online. Kasama rito ang maaaring mangyari sa pampublikong lugar, paaralan o training centers, workplaces, at maging sa digital platforms.

Ibig sabihin, kahit nasaan ka pa, dapat ligtas ka.

As the government rolls out policies to address the national energy crisis, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) asserts that gender concerns are not optional and must not be sidelined during emergencies.

Through Advisory No. 2026-001, the PCW invokes the Magna Carta of Women, which mandates the State to ensure the protection, security, and adequate resource allocation for women during crisis situations. The Commission emphasizes that crisis responses, including austerity measures and fund releases, must integrate a gender lens.

The PCW advises policymakers and technical staff to ensure that energy relief and welfare programs specifically prioritize highly vulnerable groups, including women-headed households, elderly women, solo mothers, widows, and women with disabilities. Emergency policies must also recognize households of persons with diverse SOGIESC, ensuring equitable access to relief and recovery programs for all family types, including chosen families. Furthermore, if government office hours are reduced for energy conservation, the PCW strongly recommends implementing care-responsive scheduling, such as flexible work arrangements for employees with caregiving responsibilities.

Ngayong ikatlong linggo ng Abril, ating kinikilala ang mahalagang gampanin ng mga solo parent sa kanilang mga tahanan. Sa kabila ng kanilang pagod at sakripisyo, patuloy silang nagpapakatatag para sa kapakanan at kinabukasan ng kanilang mga anak.

Ang bawat araw ay patunay ng kanilang lakas ng loob at walang humpay na pagmamahal. Sila ang mga tahimik na bayani ng kanilang mga tahanan na humaharap sa hamon ng buhay nang may dignidad at pag-asa.
