There may be some lower water pressure in the village for a while tonight as Mid City repairs a damaged lateral that was hit by the T-Mobile fiber guys that cannot seem to go two houses without hitting a utility. They are working in County right of way and have County issued permits. We are doing everything we can to work with the County to slow these guys down and hold them accountable. If you can reduce water use for this evening it would be appreciated.

Support the Lannon Police Department Motor Unit to Help Honor Our Heroes – National Police Week 2026

Every May, thousands of law enforcement officers from across the globe gather in Washington, D.C., to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This year, we have a unique opportunity to send the Lannon Police Department Motor Unit to represent our village at National Police Week.
Our motor officers provide a vital service to our community, from ensuring traffic safety to participating in local events. Sending them to the nation’s capital allows them to join the Honor Guard, participate in the Unity Tour, and stand in solidarity with the families of fallen officers.

Why Your Support Matters
Transportation and lodging for officers in D.C. during this peak period involves significant costs. As a small department, we are reaching out to our local partners to help bridge the gap. Your donation will go directly toward:
Fuel and maintenance for the long journey.
Lodging and travel expenses for our dedicated officers.

How You Can Help
We are seeking donations of any size. Whether it is $25 or $500, every dollar brings our officers one mile closer to representing Lannon on the national stage. If you'd like to make a donation, please drop it off at the Village of Lannon - Village Hall or contact Sgt. Nate Schweitzer at [email protected] to arrange a pick up.

Thank you for your continued support of the men and women who keep Lannon safe. We are proud to serve this community, and with your help, we look forward to representing you in our nation's capital.

With gratitude,
Sgt. Nate Schweitzer
