As I'm sure you're all aware - I have been re-elected. It's an honour to be given the chance to continue in my role, as one in a long line of Stewards of the County of Wellington, which runs all the way back to 1843. At the end of this new term, I will have served 25 years as a Councillor (combination of Township and County). I have always tried to represent the constituency, with honesty, integrity, and with great energy.

I would like to thank my family, my work family, the many volunteers who helped me along the way - and most of all, the voters of Guelph-Eramosa Township and Wellington County ward 8.

Thanks everyone.

It's the last day of door knocking before tomorrow's election! Please get out and vote. Share this to encourage your neighbours to get out and vote as well. Even if you didn't get a voters kit - you can still go to the Guelph-Eramosa township office and vote tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your support.

There are only a few days left to vote. Ballots can be dropped off at the Guelph-Eramosa Township Office right up to election day (Monday). If your ballot hasn't arrived in the mail, you can still register on-site and vote right away (also at the Township Office).

The number one question while knocking on doors today... "Can I still vote, even though it's too late to put my ballot in the mail?". YES - take your ballot to the Guelph-Eramosa Township office from now until Election Day (October 24th).

Please give this some thought before you vote.

Wardens tree planting in Elora this morning! A small army of volunteers planted 700+ trees today. The County of Wellington has planted over a 1 million trees since the Green Legacy program was instituted. This is Mayor Greg Davidson and I in section #4 (the best section).

Lots of questions over the past few days about Wards. Below are the TOWNSHIP of Guelph-Eramosa wards. For many, many years, I was on that Council. However, for the past two terms, I've been your representative for COUNTY of WELLINGTON Ward 8. County Ward 8 = Township Wards 2+3+4. That's the position where I'm seeking re-election. There's a great explanation of all the upcoming Municipal elections in this week's Wellington Advertiser.
