Gomti is a river flowing through the north-eastern Indian state of Tripura and the district of Cumilla in Bangladesh. A dam has been constructed near Dumbur on the river that has formed a lake covering 40 square kilometres (15 sq mi). Gomti is a river which is flowing by the side of Cumilla city and this is flowing north side of city. The people of the city come to visit the places at the afternoon and enjoy the natural beauty of Gomti river.
