Last year more than 100,000 people died of drug overdoses, with the fentanyl pouring across our southern border playing a major part. That’s more than the total number of Americans who died in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq combined. It’s also more than 3x as many as died from gun violence in this country. Congress and the President are fixated on guns and are completely ignoring the drug crisis. Drugs are the greatest danger to our children and grandchildren today—not guns. What do you think?

I’m thankful the charges against John Dunn were dropped—and now the UK government says it was wrong for prosecutors to say that parts of the Bible were “no longer appropriate.” John served in the British Army’s Special Forces but recently he has been in a court battle because he preaches the truth of God’s Word. John often refers to Genesis 1 and says that human beings are made in God’s image, male and female, and that marriage between one man and one woman is God’s purpose and pattern. Someone didn’t agree with John's freedom to share that truth and thought they could shut him down by taking him to court. But the Bible is the Word of God—It does not change and it will always be what the world needs to hear. And John is out there preaching even though he lost his voice box following throat cancer. His testimony is powerful. He said, “Before I became a Christian, I hated people, I served with the Special Forces and I made it my mission to learn how to best kill people, that was my job. But when I met Jesus Christ, He changed my heart, took away my hatred and filled it with love. Jesus was the answer for me, and I believe the world needs to know and experience this hope. That is why I do what I do, to help everyone to find the light of Jesus out of the darkness we all live in."

Thank you John for your boldness in sharing the hope and truth of Jesus Christ, even when it’s not what the culture wants to hear. God bless you!
