Honestly I was totally speechless with this... This is not some normal Award or PR that we receive for our work.
Yesterday on 27.8.22 my dear cousin Dinaz messaged on our family group that my picture is there in a text book of their son. It is the History & Civics book in the 9th Std ICSE new syllabus.
This image has Two of our co-founders Ajhan ji and M***i ji with me of - WIHUM (World Interfaith Unity & Harmony Mission) and was taken at the Solidarity meet for Sri Lanka in 2019 organised by the Archdiocese of Bombay and the IRD at the St. Michael's Church, Mahim, Mumbai, where I was one of the Keynote speakers representing Zoroastrianism and Spirituality.
Isn't it amazing to be a part of the School syllabus itself and experience how God works by getting us and our mission He wants through us, out there into the world? This indeed stands true when Meher Baba says "HE Does His own work."
We are simply blessed to get the opportunity to be His instruments of Love and Light.
And just see this timing. Civics as a subject (which was earlier History & Civics as a combined subject) was replaced by social or political science I guess.
This photo event was in 2019, and 2020 the lockdown happened. And in the new syllabus post COVID, Civics seems to be back and this picture is there in it.
What impeccable synergy and totally uncanny for this image to be used as representation when WIHUM and the 2 key foundations I am a part of, are working on creating modules for the Youth for Interreligious Studies and Global Oneness Dialogue. WIHUM is World Interfaith Harmony and Unity Mission organisation for Peace and Oneness. Pronounced as WE-HUM (with Hum sounding as We in Hindi). Today was the soft launch with Media interaction. 🙏🏼🌸💖🙌🏼
It is a unique organisation where many religious organisations, NGOs and individuals from various religions and faiths, have joined hands to promote inter-religious understanding, acceptance and peace in the Society.
Today’s sociopolitical atmosphere is getting very complicated and situation is getting difficult day by day. Hence to repair and maintain the fabric of the Society, peacekeepers are urgently needed to start a strong momentum for peace and harmony.
WIHUM intends to work with like minded locals, nationals, and international organisations as well as like minded media and individuals. This is not just the Mission of the ones starting it, but yours and everyone out there who dreams to make this world a fabric of unified Humanity.
