[ POSITIVE ASSUMPTION ]
We can develop our inner selves based on how we perceive and judge the world around us; it reflects the way we think and connect our minds to reality. We can live with tranquil and healthy existence if we become optimistic and fill our mind with positive thoughts.
Negative assumptions are forbidden in Islam, it is because they disrupt us psychologically, socially and spiritually. "O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption, for any supposition is sin..." [Qur'an 49:12]. "Never think poorly of a remark that comes out of your believing brother's mouth, as long as you can find a suitable excuse for it," - Umar ibn Al-Khattab
The assumption and reaction of a person to the situation matters to its consequences. Allah said "I am as my servant thinks of me" [Hadith Qudsiy-translation]. If a person assumes that the trials he faces are punishment, he will grumble and react negatively and as a result, those trials might fall under punishment for him. If he believes that those are merely a test in order for him to improve his patience and faith, then those challenges will turn into blessings for him.
Learn to judge the world positively, coz' results usually depends the way we think it will be. For example if a person with a high aspirations in life believes that nothing is impossible and then he will find ways to achieve it. Allah will help him to make his dreams turn into reality, it doesn't mean it will be easy but it does mean it is possible. Because being optimistic motivates a person to do the process with full exertion of effort that leads him to success.
Lastly; if we aspire something better or whatever from the blessings of Allah it is, never despair of the mercy of Allah. Even when a person committed a sin with an amount similar to the mountain and then he repent to Allah with sincere repentance, Allah will forgive him and accept his repentance because Allah forgives all sins. He is the most Forgiving the most Merciful.
