We are officially launching the Eleksyong TAMA Network in partnership with Samahan ng Mamamayan para sa Banal na Boto (SAMBOTO) this coming October 28 from 1-5PM at Salakot Hall, Philippine Christian University - Union Theological Seminary, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The conduct and aftermath of the 2022 elections left more questions than answers among the Filipino people, with a record-breakingly fast transmission of votes amidst nonstop reports of anomalies and delays leading to the disenfranchisement of many citizens. The TNTrio’s initial findings in the past months point to fraud in last year’s National and Local Elections, which even pushed the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to admit that they were not transparent. This is simply unacceptable and urges us to continue seeking accountability for violating our democratic rights. We invite all democracy-loving citizens to join the conversation and take a stand for the nation's future.

Smartmatic should be disqualified from 2025 election bidding and held accountable — Eleksyong TAMA

Eleksyong TAMA fully supports the petition filed to disqualify Smartmatic. Yesterday, October 17, COMELEC held a hearing on the petition to disqualify Smartmatic from the bidding process for the 2025 automated election. This petition was filed by former Poll Commissioner Augosto Lagman, former DICT Secretary Eliseo Rio Jr., Ret. Col. Leonardo Odoño, and Franklin Ysaac. The petitioners say that Smartmatic did not meet the minimum system capabilities, which is clear as day given the anomalous conduct of previous elections.

The network firmly rejects Smartmatic's counter-argument that there were 'no anomalies in the previous elections,' comparing PPCRV's unofficial parallel count of printed Election Returns (ERs) with the transmitted votes. But the issue at hand is the lack of transparency as admitted by the Commission itself.

How can we be sure that the printed ERs reflect the true vote count if the vote-counting machine (VCM) itself lacks integrity? Why did they hide the existence of this illegal 'meet-me-room' for so long, under the term 'Telco-Exchange Integrator'? We, from the IT community, find this so-called accuracy unacceptable if it comes from a system lacking integrity and security.

We assert that Smartmatic should not only be disqualified but held legally accountable along with their cohorts in COMELEC for implementing an illegal and unconstitutional transmission process according to the Automated Election System Law and the Omnibus Election Code.

Smartmatic has committed a grave crime against the Filipino people; they robbed us of our right to vote for the leaders of this country. Smartmatic and COMELEC stole the very essence of democracy.

It is clear that Smartmatic and COMELEC took part in the anomalous conduct of the elections from vote-counting to transmission. The Eleksyong TAMA Network conclusively declares the 2022 NLEs void and invalid.

Our network reiterates that the credibility of the next elections falls on whether they get rid of Smartmatic. Otherwise, the cycle of fraudulent elections will continue. #
