With a career spanning decades and an impressive track record in public service, Police Major General Nicolas Deloso Torre III continues to embody the ideals of excellence, integrity, and strategic leadership within the Philippine National Police (PNP).
A proud member of PNPA Class 1993, known as "Tagapaglunsad", PMGEN Torre hails from Jolo, Sulu, and has demonstrated an exceptional ability to build strong relationships with diverse communities. Fluent in Tagalog, English, and Ilonggo, he has effectively connected with various cultural groups, which has played a crucial role in fostering trust and cooperation between the PNP and the public.
Throughout his career, PMGEN Torre has held critical positions that have shaped key police operations and reforms. Among the high-ranking roles he has occupied are:

➡️Regional Director, Police Regional Office 11 (Davao Region)
➡️District Director, Quezon City Police District (QCPD)
➡️Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PRO 4B and PRO 3
➡️Provincial Director, Western Samar Police Provincial Office
➡️Chief of Police, Batangas City and Mabalacat Municipal Police Station.
His leadership in these roles earned him a reputation as a results-oriented officer with a keen focus on operational efficiency, intelligence-led policing, and community partnership.

Torre has been honored with several prestigious national awards throughout his career, including the Medalya ng Pambihirang Paglilingkod, Medalya ng Kadakilaan, Gawad sa Kapayapaan Medal, and the Medalya ng Paglilingkod for both Visayas and Luzon, in recognition of his exceptional service and dedication to peace and security. These recognitions reflect his steadfast dedication to upholding law and order while promoting peace in both conflict-prone and urban areas.
In 2018, PMGEN Torre faced a case for Grave Misconduct. However, a thorough investigation led to the dismissal of the charges. The case was resolved in his favor, reinforcing his standing as an officer of integrity and professionalism.
Currently serving as the Director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), PMGEN Torre continues to lead with excellence, focusing on intelligence-driven operations and crime prevention. His leadership within the CIDG has been instrumental in solving major crimes and enhancing the safety and security of the Filipino people.
From June 2025, PMGEN Torre will have 1 year and 9 months before his retirement in March 2027. His remaining time in service will be yet another chapter of meaningful leadership, rooted in discipline, compassion, and a firm commitment to peace and order. His name will remain synonymous with visionary law enforcement and steadfast public service.
