The Starfish Story
One day, a man was walking along a beach, enjoying the sunrise and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore. As he walked, he noticed the beach was covered with thousands of starfish, washed up by the tide.
The man soon realized that as the tide receded, the starfish were left stranded on the sand. Without the ocean's water, they would surely dry out and die under the sun.
In the distance, the man saw a young boy bending down, picking up starfish one by one, and throwing them back into the ocean. Curious, the man approached the boy and asked, "Why are you doing this? There are thousands of starfish here. You canβt possibly make a difference."
The boy paused for a moment, holding a starfish in his hand. Then he smiled, threw the starfish into the water, and said, "I made a difference for that one."
The man was struck by the boyβs perspective. He realized the boy was right; while he couldnβt save every starfish, his actions mattered to each individual one he helped. Inspired, the man joined the boy, and together, they began throwing starfish back into the sea.

Lesson from the Story
This story reminds us that small actions, even when they seem insignificant in the grand scheme, can have a profound impact on others. It encourages us to focus on what we can do rather than being overwhelmed by what we canβt.
In life, every small act of kindness, every effort to help, creates ripples of hope and change. While we may not solve all the world's problems, we can always make a difference to someone.
