Together with fellow leaders from West Pokot County, I paid a courtesy visit to the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Hon. Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen, where we held fruitful discussions on key issues affecting security, service delivery, and development priorities that impact our people.
Key focus was placed on strengthening security coordination through enhanced collaboration between security agencies, local administration, and community leadership to promote peace, stability, and peaceful coexistence across the county.
The meeting brought together leaders committed to advancing the interests of West Pokot, Including Hon. Prof. John Krop Lonyang'apuo, Hon. Julius Murgor, Senator for West Pokot County, Hon. Rael Kasiwai, Woman Representative for West Pokot County, Hon. Peter Lochakapong, MP for Sigor Constituency, Hon. Mark Lomunokol, and Hon. Simon Kalekem.
As leaders, we remain united in championing initiatives that promote efficient public service delivery, inclusive development, and improved opportunities for our people.
Later in the day, together with fellow leaders from West Pokot County, I held a consultative meeting with the fellow PS for Immigration and Citizen Services Hon. Dr. Bellio Kipsang, We addressed challenges affecting National Identity Card registration, including expansion of registration centres, reduction of delays, and improved access for citizens in remote areas to enhance inclusion in government services and national opportunities.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of unity among leaders in ensuring effective service delivery and equitable development across West Pokot County.
