The Warren County Virginia Sheriff's Office is proud to partner with Special Olympics Virginia through upcoming fundraising events that directly benefit athletes with intellectual disabilities across the Commonwealth.

We are currently seeking local business sponsors to help support our efforts, including events such as 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 and 𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲. These initiatives not only raise critical funds for Special Olympics athletes but also strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the community we serve.

Every dollar raised remains in Virginia and helps ensure these athletes receive the support, inclusion, and opportunities they deserve.

We would be honored to partner with you in making a difference in the lives of these incredible athletes. Please feel free to contact Deputy Cindy Burke at Warren County Sheriffs Office if you would like additional information.

I can't just stay away! I have been with the FOP since 2010 and on the Board since 2012! That's me, 2nd from right, 66 lbs lighter from when I left CA. All of these members are great current and past LE officers. The men & woman that I have had the privilege to work with and represent from Northwest Virginia are some of the finest I have met in my 40+ years of service to the public. God bless them and protect them from the always present threats in the field and all the misguided citizens and politicians (democrats) that they must deal with and try to win over. Praise also to all the other 1st Responders in our Area, they too are fantastic., believe me I know.👮‍♀️👮🙏🚓🚑🚒

1/13/2025: Lodge # 33 2026 Board sworn in by New 1st Term President Clark McDaniel(back to camera). L- R: Immediate Past President/ Director-Trustee Ronnie Williamson, 1st V.P. Paul Brenner, 2nd V.P. Dave Fogel, Sec/Treas Art Coleman, Chaplain Chris Powell (behind Coleman) and Sgt at Arms Eddie Long. Congtats and good luck to all! Looking forward to a great year!

❄️ Cold Weather Advisory – Animal Welfare Enforcement ❄️

With dangerously cold temperatures expected over the next few days, the Page County Sheriff’s Ofifce wants to remind residents that Virginia law requires companion animals—such as dogs and cats—to be properly sheltered and protected from the cold. Animals should NOT BE TETHERED when temperatures drop below 33 degrees. If you are unable to provide adequate shelter, contact Page Paws or the Page County Animal Shelter for assistance.

Leaving an animal outside in cold temperatures constitutes animal cruelty under Virginia law and is a criminal offense.

🚨 This law will be enforced.

Violations may result in:
• Criminal charges
• Fines and/or imprisonment
• Seizure and forfeiture of the animal
• Permanent prohibition from owning animals in the future

If you own a pet, bring them indoors or ensure they have adequate, safe, and warm shelter immediately. If you know of an animal in distress, please contact the PCSO at 540-743-6571 or call 911 if an animal needs immediate attention.

Protect your pets. Protect your neighbors. Stay safe.

Safer Internet Day is here! 🌐

Today is a great reminder that online safety starts with open conversation. We encourage parents and caregivers to talk early with children about their online experiences. Ask what apps they use, who they connect with, and how they handle situations that make them uncomfortable.

Keeping communication open helps young people feel supported and more likely to speak up when something doesn’t feel right. Let’s work together to keep kids safe, informed, and confident online.
