The Horizon Europe NEB Facility Call 2026 is still open and we look forward to receiving proposals for its three destinations! 📢

The call's Destination: "Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment", focuses on the physical dimension of neighbourhood transformation, including innovative designs or uses of our built environment. It includes three topics:

🌡️ Sustainable, inclusive, affordable and beautiful solutions for thermal comfort in buildings | EU Contribution: €12M for up to 3 projects
🔧 Advancing sustainable maintenance and repair measures for existing buildings | EU Contribution: €10M for up to 2 projects
🏙️ Innovative solutions for the sustainable and beautiful use of vertical space | EU Contribution: €15M for up to 3 projects

With a total indicative budget of €37 million, this Destination funds demonstration projects across all three topics.

NEB Junction is here!

Implementing the Knowledge pillar of the NEB Academy, NEB Junction transforms experiences, lessons, and insights from NEB projects into a shared and living knowledge ecosystem. By collecting, curating, and valorising knowledge from across the NEB community, it aims to strengthen the circulation of knowledge and support future generations of initiatives contributing to the New European Bauhaus.

As the NEB Hub for Results and Impact, NEB Junction is:

🖥️ a one-stop-shop portal for NEB knowledge and insights
🤝 driven by and serving the NEB community
💡 designed to valorise, connect, and share knowledge across projects and stakeholders

The NEB Academy is growing! 🎓🌍

From a skills initiative to a broader infrastructure supporting how the NEB valorises knowledge, builds capacities, and supports innovation. ⤵️

As announced in the 2025 Commission Communication on the New European Bauhaus, the Academy is now entering a new phase and expanding its scope into a full learning and innovation infrastructure for the NEB, established along three pillars:

🧠 Knowledge Valorisation
🛠️ Skills Development and Capacity Building
🚀 Innovation and Business Development

Together, these pillars form a continuous NEB learning loop: from inspiration, to skills, to implementation and back again. The loop will enable people and organisations to access knowledge and inspiration from existing projects, develop the skills needed to turn ideas into reality, and connect with the networks, partners, and environments that can help implement and scale innovative solutions across Europe.

The finalists of the New European Bauhaus Trophy 2026 design competition are here!

Created by students from across the European Union, these projects reflect the core NEB values of sustainability, inclusion, and beauty through bold and inspiring concepts.

🏆 The winning design will become the official trophy awarded to the winners of the 2026 NEB Prizes.

Now it’s your turn to decide.

Come to the Festival, explore the 10 selected proposals in the exhibition and vote for your favourite design.

📅 The winning trophy will be announced on Friday 12 June.
