🚪🏡 Out door-knocking in Greenways with fellow Kingswood Town Councillor Steve Evans after being contacted by a resident.

Great to speak with local people and hear how much they enjoy living in such a friendly community. We also discussed concerns about overgrown grass, the new road surface, parking, and speeding issues.

This Sunday (17 May) in South Glos, we join people across the world to mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.

This global moment of solidarity for LGBTQIA+ communities commemorates the 1990 decision by the World Health Organisation to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases.

It serves as an opportunity for us all to recognise that history, and the work still ahead to ensure everyone is equal, welcome and respected.

💪Cleaning up South Glos one bag at a time💪

Our councillors are often out organising and joining in on litter picks to help keep their local areas clean.

Alison and Steve, Your Labour team for Woodstock, were outside Kingswood Oak Academy after residents said it could do with a bit of a tidy. Watch below to hear how they get on.

🌹 Today is polling day in Conygre Ward for 2x Filton Town Council vacancies. Only Labour and Reform are standing, so please do vote Labour today.

Your only local candidates are Labour’s Andy and Mac, and they’ve been out listening to people in their local area already.

Good to be out talking with local people in the area today, picking up casework to provide support as well as reminding people that today’s polling day.
