There are many people in prisons and other detention facilities in this world, for various reasons. The reason a person is incarcerated is irrelevant, regarding what is being said here. What is relevant are the crimes that are committed each day in prisons, jails, and other detention facilities.
Such facilities can be dangerous, obviously, as many in such places are there for doing serious crimes. Some inmates are violent, and others are not. The crime(s) a person has been arrested for and charged with are not an accurate reflection of them as an individual, or of their tendency to be violent. Though, for some, it is. Each person is different. Every person who is incarcerated is not a bad person but are someone who made a bad decision. Every person makes bad decisions, some are just more serious bad decisions than others. There are many good people who are locked up, and there are some people who need to be incarcerated because they will only continue to harm others or commit serious crimes.
Many people continue to commit crimes while they are incarcerated. That is the reality of incarceration. But, that is not the only reason for the discussion of this subject here. Something else needs to be mentioned that is very important. That is the subject of those who work at such facilities. Many who work at them commit crimes as well.
Many crimes are committed by some incarcerated individuals and by some who work at those facilities. Some are held accountable for their criminal misconduct, as they should be. However, there are a great many crimes that are committed by both categories of people for which they are never held accountable, and that is wrong.
Unfortunately, employees at such facilities will lie and say they did nothing wrong. Employees at facilities assigned with investigating such misconduct by other employees will also lie and say that the employee did nothing inappropriate or illegal. That is, most assuredly, a problem, but it is not the entire problem.
Another part of the problem is that law enforcement agencies who are assigned with investigating violations of law at prisons are not keen on doing their jobs. They may be lazy and uninterested, or they may be incompetent. Whatever the reason for their lack of diligence it is a problem, and they are doing a disservice to the badge they wear and to those who have been victimized in some kind of way. Some crimes there isn't a victim, not in the traditional sense, but that doesn't mean they are not guilty of committing a crime.
Many employees at such facilities commit crimes, but there are many people, both inmates and employees at those facilities, who do not know a lot about what crimes have been committed and that is why some of the crimes that happen continue to happen. Such as, for example, when an employee writes false information in a prison document or an inmate's medical or mental health file, etc. Hiding, concealing, destroying, etc. such documents is illegal. Employees that do that rely on the fact that inmates and other employees are not aware of the crime that is being done by them, and that is why they continue to do such things with impunity.
Bringing attention to such things is important, and it needs to be done often and people need to advocate for the individuals responsible to be held accountable legally. If that doesn't happen that behavior just continues, and there is a negative ripple effect on others as a result.
Inmates and employees at those facilities need to be charged and prosecuted for the crimes they commit. But, before that can happen those crimes need to be reported. There are some in law enforcement, and some prosecutors, who are not interested in doing their jobs properly, or zealously, unfortunately. It is for that reason that people must be zealous in their effort to convince such individuals to do their jobs so those responsible for committing crimes are prosecuted and held accountable.
Each state has different laws regarding recording telephone or face-to-face conversations with other individuals. Many states you can do that without the other person or persons giving their consent, but there are states that require you to have consent from the other person or persons. It is important for a person to know what the law is regarding that in the area where you live.
If nothing is being done at the very least, you can expose the inaction of those individuals by showing audio or video of them refusing to do their job. If you have documentation to support the allegation(s) you are making that they did commit a crime. This page has been made to provide a place for people to submit such information so it can be shown to the world.
Please submit whatever you have so it can be shown. Other things regarding crimes committed by anyone is also welcomed. The success of this page and its content is dependent on the information submitted. Sometimes, understandably, there is no documentation or physical evidence that a person committed a crime, but it would still be good to hear about those events. Regardless of what country you live in, your submissions are welcomed.

If you have physical evidence that needs to be mailed, please indicate that in the email you send, and an address will be provided for you to mail the item(s) in a response email.
