Mayor Randy Singson attended the blessing of newly acquired service vehicles organized by the City General Services Office headed by Kenneth Victa.

The blessing was officiated by Fr. Ian Filart and attended by the heads of offices that will utilize the vehicles in the delivery of government services, including the City Treasury Office headed by Edwin Remigio, the City Budget Office headed by Atty. Pert Alagano, the City Internal Audit Office headed by Janine Abalos, and the City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Bing Artienda.

The additional vehicles are expected to help improve mobility, coordination, and the efficient delivery of services to Bigueรฑos in the performance of their respective functions.

The City Government of Vigan continues to provide its offices with the resources needed to better serve the public and support responsive governance.

The City Health Office, headed by City Health Officer Dr. Loida Ranches, conducted another implementation of Kalusugan on Wheels in Brgy. Beddeng Laud in coordination with Punong Barangay Janna Pajaro and the members of the Barangay Council.

The initiative continues to bring essential healthcare services directly to communities, helping ensure that residents have access to medical consultations, health programs, and other basic health services closer to home.

Various visitors and coordination activities took place at the Mayorโ€™s Office on May 20, 2026 as part of the city governmentโ€™s continuing engagement with students, local officials, and public service offices.

Among those who paid a courtesy visit were students participating in the Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) who are currently assigned to different offices of the City Government of Vigan. They were accompanied by Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Ronilda A. Aninag.

Mayor Randy Singson also welcomed Councilor Clifford Ines of Sinait, Ilocos Sur who presented a handicraft gift from the Municipality of Sinait.

Mayor Randy Singson checked on the implementation of Project U.B.B.O. following the arrival of the 14 tons of vegetables from Benguet which were received the previous day, repacked, and distributed the following day to qualified Bigueรฑo beneficiaries.

Distribution and selling activities were conducted at the designated sites located in front of Vigan City Hall, at the Ayusan Norte Gym, and at the Nagsangalan Agriculture Warehouse.

The Mayor visited the selling area in front of City Hall where he also had the opportunity to speak with some of the beneficiaries of the program.

Project U.B.B.O., initiated by Vice Mayor Atty. Glendale Benzon, was organized to help support Benguet farmers affected by oversupply while also providing more affordable vegetables to vulnerable sectors in Vigan City.
