US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) in partnership with Space Center Houston and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, will host the first ever, live oath of enlistment ceremony from space.

SPC Jordan Adams of Army Graphics was presented the first 244th Army Birthday Ball Coin at his farewell ceremony. SPC Adams is the designer of 244th Army Birthday logo which is used on the coin. The ceremony recognized him for his graphics work and honored him for his insightful conception. SPC Adams' Birthday Ball logo was inspired by an image from the D-Day landing. The silhouettes in the logo are of D-Day Soldiers running onto the beaches of Normandy.
