The man who will work closely with the newly elected mayor and will make a difference for the City of Champions. I come from a generational family and want to be part of seeing Artesia continue moving and growing in a positive direction. I am an Artesia High School graduate, Vice President of the Artesia Chamber of Commerce, promotor of local development and supporter of local business. My family
lives here and we enjoy being a part of Bulldog Country. I am in favor of partnerships with the private sector and Artesia High School. I do not believe Artesia government is only streets, sewer and garbage but includes many facets , including improving our "quality of life" to attract and keep families in Artesia. Working at Central Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. for 24 years now has taught me the importance of communication and being available to the community; one of the seven cooperative principles is, "Concern for Community." My engineering and management background taught me to pay attention to the details and how to prioritize so I can complete projects in a timely manner. That is my plan as well for being part of the City Council for Artesia, NM. I look forward to talking with the people about my ideas and hearing about other's thoughts and opinions. I am approachable, open to communication and will be there for my district and the city.
