Our working groups continued their work on finalizing the MOI! Framework in our last workshop in Berlin on June 13–15th. We want to thank Institut für Museumsforschung for hosting us, and all partners for their fruitful contributions in the final steps of the project! 🌞

The MOI! Framework will be presented in the final conference in Loulé, Portugal, on October 10–11th. See you there after summer holidays!

Our partners from the EU project MOI Museums of Impact visited us for a three-day workshop. We are proud to be part of this unique project and represent the interests and perspectives of the german museum community.

After successfully testing the beta version of our self-evaluation tool in several pilot museums across Europe during the last months, we now started to finalize the framework and incorporate the feedback from all pilot workshops.

The final framework will be published at the end of this year via Network of European Museum Organisations We will keep you updated!

✏️ Sign up for our workshop at the MOI! Evaluation for Impact event

📆 10th of May 14:00-15:45 CET

Workshop Session 1
How do you see the museums’ role in society? How can museums build futures and act as changemakers?

Workshop session 2
How do you see developmental evaluation as a tool for museums? What benefits and challenges do you see in using a self-evaluation tool?

The workshops are intended to provide an open space for discussion and reflection for the museum professionals, to discuss museums as important actors and agents in social, cultural, and economic impact.

The new developmental evaluation model needs these expert discussions to be able to focus on issues that are perceived as most relevant and important in the interface between museums and their communities.

The results of the discussions will influence the formation of the new development framework and help us to create a relevant tool for all museums, with impact at its core.

Please note that the workshop is limited to 80 attendees only. The workshop is especially dedicated to museum professionals from the Nordic countries (Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden).

❗️❗️Registration ends on the 5th of May ❗️❗️
