Lisa Forcier, a SWO Education Specialist on the Lake Traverse Reservation, will be at the Title VI Indian Education meeting tonight at 5:00 in the library during parent teacher conferences. She will help answer any JOM questions you may have tonight. Cookies and pop will be served.

Busy afternoon and evening at Summit school today! In addition to parent-teacher conferences, the 5/6 BB boys and girls play starting with girls at 4:00. We also have the book fair running from 2-7 and a Title VI meeting in the library at 5:00.

Student Council members are doing a Food Drive the month of November! Elementary students should bring donations to their classrooms. High School students should bring donations to their advisors. The Food Drive will end on November 26. The elementary class that collects the highest number of non-perishable goods per student will win a pizza party! The high school class that collects the highest number of non-perishable goods per student will win a pizza party also! ** The winning class must average at least 5 donated items per student to qualify for the prize.**

At 5:00 pm, November 7,(the night of conferences), we will be holding our annual title VI meeting in the library at the school in Summit. We encourage all Native American students and parents to attend and hear more about the program.

Upcoming events!

Parent Teacher Conferences, November 7th from 2-7 pm. School will dismiss at 12:30. There will be a Book Fair that evening in the lunchroom. The Student Council is doing a Fashion Show on November 7, beginning at 7 pm.

National Honor Society induction will be November 12th at 7:30 pm.

Student Council Bingo will be held November 14th at 7 pm in the Summit School Gym.

We are in session on Friday November 22nd.

All School Christmas concert will be December 5th. PreK through grade six will begin at 6:15; grades 7-12 will begin at 7 pm.
