Well, family and friends, another election day has come and gone. I asked for your support for another six year term as a Trustee on the Plainfield Fire District Board and you did not disappoint. Thank you so much. I feel so grateful to work for you to make our community a safer place.

As for the community we’re all in this together. Congratulations to all of the candidates for a great campaign season. It takes a lot of time and dedication to serve the public and anybody that wishes to do so deserves a congratulations. Once again I thank you for all your continued support. As the day has come to cast your votes, I want to express my appreciation to everyone for your continued support. Good Luck to all candidates and I will leave you with a phrase known very well in the fire service. “Always leave it better than you found it.” it may be known in the fire service but could be used in all walks of this life.

Take a minute and have an inside look at your tax dollars at work. What started as a 1 house volunteer organization grew with the community into a now 4 station, fully staffed fire district that is one of the most proactive and highly trained departments in the area. I am proud to have served on this board for the last 12 years. I ask for your support on April 4th to continue the proactive approach for the safety of the citizens we serve as well as assisting neighboring communities through MABAS (mutual aid box alarm system).
