Yesterday in Rusk County, I met with Texas Farm Bureau members for a conversation on farm bill priorities and the challenges facing East Texas producers.

Among the group was Baxter Whitworth, a young cattleman who hosts the Cattle Innovation Station Podcast, where he interviews industry leaders on profitability, herd health, and modern ranching technology for cow-calf operations. Good to visit with Baxter, his mother Emily Whitworth, and his father, Commissioner Bennie Whitworth. East Texas agriculture runs in families, and it shows!
