In line with the national governmentโ€™s energy conservation initiatives, the Local Government Unit of Quirino, Isabela will implement a Four-Day Compressed Work Week Schedule, with office hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President.

Please be advised that offices delivering essential and frontline servicesโ€”including health, emergency response, disaster risk reduction and management, and sanitationโ€”shall continue to operate under their regular schedules or adopt suitable arrangements to ensure uninterrupted service to the public.

The Municipality of Quirino, Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Edward D. Juan was recognized as the Top Disbursement Contributor for project fund utilization during the implementation of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) sub-project: Rehabilitation of the Sta. Luciaโ€“Sta. Catalina Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) with Bridge, reaching a total of P122 million project fund disbursement.

The award was received by Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) Julius B. Miguel and Planning Officer I Jezen B. Santos during the 10th PRDP General Assembly held at Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City, on March 4โ€“6, 2026.

The Local Government Unit of Quirino, Isabela led by Mayor Edward D. Juan proudly achieved Level 3 Functionality during the Tulong Angkop sa Pantawid (TAPAT) Awards Rites 2025, held at Carmelita Hotel, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The TAPAT functionality assessment of the Department of Social Welfare and Development underscores the effectiveness of LGUs in program implementation, while also recognizing their initiatives, innovations, and good practices in support of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) for Calendar Year 2025.

This distinction affirms Quirinoโ€™s commitment to responsive governance and community-centered service delivery.

Representing the municipality in receiving the award were OIC MSWDO Rose Aileen T. Apalla and Private Secretary Gretchen C. Paguyo.
