naval forces with quality supplies and services. With headquarters in Mechanicsburg, Pa., and employing a diverse, worldwide workforce of more than 22,500 military and civilian personnel, NAVSUP oversees logistics programs in the areas of supply operations, conventional ordnance, contracting, resale, fuel, transportation, and security assistance. In addition, NAVSUP is responsible for quality of life issues for our naval forces, including food service, postal services, Navy Exchanges, and movement of household goods.

Yesterday, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) marked a significant leadership transition as Rear Adm. Kristin Acquavella assumed command of NAVSUP, becoming the 51st Chief of Supply Corps, relieving Rear Adm. Ken Epps.

The change of command ceremony honored Rear Adm. Epps’ leadership and service while welcoming Rear Adm. Acquavella as she takes the helm of the NAVSUP enterprise.

⚓️Honoring the legacy of the Supply Corps. ⚓

Former Chiefs of the Supply Corps joined Rear Adm. Kristin Acquavella and Rear Adm. Ken Epps for today's change of command ceremony, marking a proud moment for the Corps and its enduring tradition of leadership and service.

It was a privilege to have so many former Chiefs of the Supply Corps present today for the change of command ceremony. Their leadership and legacy continue to shape our Corps and the work we do to sustain the Fleet.

I am grateful for the opportunity to carry that legacy forward as the 51st Chief of Supply Corps.⚓

Today, Rear Adm. Kristin Acquavella relieves Rear Adm. Ken Epps as commander NAVSUP and chief of Supply Corps.

As NAVSUP moves forward, its mission remains unchanged: sustain the Fleet and support the warfighter.
