Good News!
It’s time for our annual Chapter XVI Picnic.
All are invited including spouses, children and guests. The Chapter will provide the burgers, dogs with all the fixins as well as beer, water, juice and pop. Great time to meet and greet folks, sit back and relax and enjoy. Please bring your favorite side dish, salad casserole, dessert or fruit medley. More importantly, just come. Live auction: Patriotic quilt, Devil’s Brigade whiskey and a Columbia River Guided Fishing trip just to name a few items.

Going out in Style 💃🏼

Today 1SFG(A) celebrates the career of Ms. Billie Williams. She has served as the Group's Executive Assistant for the last 30 years, making her the Group's longest serving member!

She was honored by friends, family and Group members past & present during the ceremony. Those in attendance recounted fond memories of their time with her over the past few decades.

We have just been informed that Butch Saner, former DCO of 1st SFG(A) and retired in Steilacoom had been transported from UW Medical Center to his home to begin hospice.
Erline, Butch’s wife has said that folks interested in seeing Butch can come by the house, as Butch is now home, he is periodically awake, and he would love to hear from or see folks from the SFA Chapter or folks that he served with in SF. His home address is 63 Leschi Drive, Steilacoom, WA 98388. Erline’s cell phone for those calling is 253-292-8906 and the home phone there is 253-584-6462. Erline has mentioned that he does not have much time left.
Your words of encouragement to Butch and the Family would be greatly appreciated by both.
