Councilor Darrell O'Quinn is a former veterinarian scientist with a Ph.D. in Pathology and has an extensive record of volunteer community service in Birmingham.
Councilor O'Quinn was elected in 2017 to represent District 5 on the Birmingham City Council. He is the past President of the Citizens Advisory Board, an organization that represents all 99 neighborhoods in Birmingham, and is widely known for his honesty, integrity, and passion for improving the quality of life for all citizens. Councilor O'Quinn knows that the key to effectively addressing the city's many problems is empowering average citizens to effect change in their communities!
