A sunny day out reporting back to residents in Bilsthorpe.

As always it was great to be able to chat to people about the issues that are important to them.

🏊THE DANGERS OF OPEN WATER: I'm saddened every year by the loss of life for just having a swim. Only yesterday I read of 3 young people losing their lives to it.

I love swimming. In fact it's my main go-to for exercise these days. However I always do it in a place authorised for swimming.

❌The risks are too high and we lose children every year due to a moment of fun gone wrong.

👍I came across this graphic and thought it may help parents explain the dangers to their kids.
