📣 Legislative Awareness Week | AFSA Chapter 1261 🇺🇸

This week, with the help of SrA Ian Dominguez our POC for coordinating the visits, our chapter had the honor of engaging in a meaningful exchange with Tucson Councilwoman Nikki McMillan Lee as part of AFSA’s Legislative Awareness Week.

We discussed the vital role enlisted voices play in shaping policy that supports Airmen, veterans, and their families. Councilwoman McMillan Lee’s commitment to community advocacy and open dialogue reflects the spirit of partnership we strive to build across all levels of government.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped amplify the message: Legislation matters. Engagement matters. Our voices matter.

Every step we ran was a step in remembrance. AFSA Chapter 1261’s POW Vigil Run brought our team together to honor those who can’t run beside us. Their legacy lives on through our commitment.
