In accordance with OPM guidance, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall will be open tomorrow, Feb. 23, with a two-hour delayed arrival. Non-mission essential employees have the option of unscheduled telework or unscheduled leave.

Mission essential personnel should report as scheduled. Contact your chain of command for further questions regarding reporting instructions for your unit.

H&S BN Henderson Hall Career Fair

The H&S BN Henderson Hall Career Fair was held on 3 February 2026 at the Cpl Terry L. Smith Gym, Henderson Hall. The event welcomed approximately 150 Marines from across the National Capital Region.

Twenty-four monitors and occupational field sponsors, representing a wide range of MOSs, were in attendance to engage with Marines at all stages of their careers. Marines had the opportunity to seek career guidance, explore potential lateral moves, learn about special duty assignments, and discuss other professional development options as they continue their service in the United States Marine Corps.

H&S BN, Henderson Hall – Operational Status

Due to weather conditions in the Washington, DC region, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has announced a 1-hour delayed opening for Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Unscheduled leave or situational telework is authorized. Personnel should check with their chain of command for specific guidance.

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Garrison offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 28 due to hazardous accumulation of snow/ice around the installation and in many residential neighborhoods around the area. This closure includes the Cody Child Development Center and ID Card Office. The Fort Myer and Fort McNair Gym is open for those with 24-hour access.

Maximum situational telework is in effect for Garrison employees except for those deemed mission essential.

Additionally, Rader Clinic will be limited to telehealth appointments only.

The Myer Post Exchange will be closed tomorrow for inventories, but Subway, Starbucks, and Panda Express will open at regular time. The Myer and McNair Express will be open, but at reduced hours.

The Fort Myer Commissary will also be open tomorrow.

As always, please use caution when driving on the installation.

Due to weather conditions in the Washington, DC region, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has announced a 1-hour delayed opening for Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

MCCS Henderson Hall will operate on the following schedule:
🛍️ MCX Henderson Hall: Opens at 10:00 AM
🍷 The Vineyard Wine & Spirits: Opens at 10:00 AM
💈 American Clipper Barber Shop: Opens at 9:00 AM
🏋️ CPL Terry L. Smith Gym: Opens at 7:00 AM
👨‍👩‍👧 Marine & Family Programs: Opens at 9:00 AM
All other MCCS staff will report at 9:00 AM.

Marines, Sailors and Civilians,

H&S BN, Henderson is in a Code Red status. IAW OPM, government offices on JBM-HH will be closed, Tues. 27 January 2026, due to continued hazardous conditions on base.

Below are more updates on individual locations and services.

Andrew Rader/ McNair Clinic closures: Clinics are closed. IAW OPM and JBM-HH guidance due to hazardous travel conditions.
MWR Facilities are closed, including Cody CDC/SAC.

America's Kitchen Hours: 0930 - 1300 and 1600- 1730
Myer PX/Express is open. Myer PX/Express to open at reduced hours tomorrow, including Subway and Starbucks. Stay tuned for updated hours.
USO: Open from 0800 - 1200
Hatfield Gate is OPEN. Gate 1 on HH is CLOSED.

JBM-HH Road Condition Status is BLACK. Roads are impassable and danger exists in operation of motor vehicles on JBM-HH and Fort McNair. Only emergency vehicles will travel. No personal vehicles on the roads.

There is a convenient and secure way to pick up your refills! The ScriptCenter kiosk, located in the MCCS Henderson Hall, speeds up the pick up of NON-REFRIGERATED refill prescriptions. Enrollment is required prior to first pick up. After enrolling, let us know you would like to pick up the prescription at the Fort Myer Rader ScriptCenter when you order your refill. Pick up is after three business days.
