I am a doctoral student at Palmer School of Library and Information Science, Long Island
University. As a fellow SACM student, you are invited to participate in my dissertation research
entitled, “Information Seeking Behavior for Academic Work of Saudi Students in the U.S.A.”.
The study includes two stages, and all the experiment materials will be available in both
English and Arabic. Stage I is an online survey study, which takes about 20-30 minutes,
inquiring your information needs and information seeking behavior related to your academic
study. Stage II is a follow-up interview study, which takes about 30-40 minutes, examining your
decision making processes and choice behaviors for your information seeking behavior.
