With the count down to November 7th nearing the 30 day mark I would like to use this platform to introduce myself and my family to those of you in Panola County who are not familiar with me.
I am from Long Island, New York. When I share that fact about myself I often get asked immediately “how in the world did you end up in Panola County, Mississippi”. Well, I have been residing in Batesville with my husband, Steven Ragon, for 9-1/2 years now. We moved “back” after he finished his service with the United States Marine Corps in North Carolina. We are fortunate to stay in the very home his grandparents, Harold and Linda Vaughan built.
Steven and I are working towards our 15th year of marriage. We have two sons, Sawyer, 3 and Finley, 1. They attend Batesville First Methodist Church daycare. It truly takes a village to raise children and we are so grateful for the women who pour in to them daily.
We attend Cornerstone Baptist Church in Batesville and love our church family too.
We are blessed to have the choice and opportunity to raise our boys in the same community that Steven grew up in. The best part of living in Mississippi for me are the people who have welcomed me as if I have lived here my entire life. ❤️
