Hey Lakers! Do you know how to spot and report a water main break?

If it hasn't been raining. You see pooling water or soggy spots in your yard or on the street. Your sump pump is running non-stop. These signs point to a possible water main break.

📚🎒 School Returns Monday, August 31 🎒📚

As students head back to school on Monday, Municipal Enforcement is reminding drivers to slow down and stay alert.

Children may be excited, distracted, or unpredictable as they travel to and from school. Please remember to:
🚸 Slow down in school and playground zones
🚌 Stop for school buses displaying flashing red lights
👀 Watch carefully for children crossing streets and pathways
📱 Put distractions away and focus on the road

Together, we can make the start of the school year a safe one for all students, parents, and motorists.

Hey Lakers! Tonight's (August 25, 2026) Regular Meeting of Council will not be available online/virtually due to technical issues inside Council Chambers.

However, as always, residents are still able to attend in-person! Meetings begin at 4:00 PM inside Council Chambers at the Municipal Government Building. (5012 48 Avenue)
