SERT Tech Rescue The Southwest Emergency Response Team Tech Rescue Division The team is comprised of Fire/Rescue professionals from the communities being served by the team.

The Southwest Emergency Response Team (SERT) Tech Rescue Division is responsible for responding to incidents involving Trench, Rope, Confined Space, and Structural Collapse. The team covers 21 communities from Cuyahoga and Medina including Berea, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Brook Park, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Brunswick, Cuyahoga Heights, Independence, Middleburg Heights, Newburg Heights, N

orth Royalon, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, Parma, Parma Heights, Seven Hills, Strongsville, Valley View, Cleveland Metroparks, and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. The Tech Rescue Division works closely with the other divisions of the SERT Team including Water Rescue, Fire Investigation, and HazMat.
