AUC Student Senate Student Senate will help you know your rights and get them for you. What is the Student Senate? The Senate acts as a representative voice of all students.

This is where you can find all the updates of the Student Senate and inform us with your concerns. The Student Senate is a body of 50 - 55 students elected to represent their majors and the student body as a whole. The Student Senate is given a number of duties that fall under the responsibility of its committees as stated in the Student Body Constitution. The top three duties are:

Legislation: T

he legislative committee, composed of 9 senators, legislates the laws for the benefit of the Student Body

Monitoring: This duty is divided to 2 committees: The Monitoring Committee, composed of 9 senators, monitors on the Student Union. Also is responsible for the supervision of the student activities in coordination with:
The Clubs and Conferences Committee (CCC): composed of 3 senators and 4 members of non-governing student organizations. Representation: This duty is divided to 2 committees: The External Affairs Committee, composed of 9 senators, represents the interests and concerns of the student body in all university committees that affect them (ex: Transportation committee). The Public Opinion Committee, composed of 9 senators, publicizes the student senate/senator's achievements to the Student body through media, booths, rollups, etc.
