Areil was the first woman to complete The Refuge Women's Ministry.

She struggled with drugs and alcohol for 15 years, but her whole life changed when she came to The Refuge. Now, she is not only clean, but has a great job, and has rebuilt her relationships with family.

Just 20 people making a recurring gift of just $20 each month is enough to support one man or woman all the way through our 13-month ministry.

How is that possible? Men and women work full-time for the most of their time at The Refuge. The money they earn is used to provide for the majority of the needs of someone behind them.
