To develop young people’s personal discovery and growth, perseverance, self-reliance, leadership skills, social responsibility and service to the community

“The Authority”, for the implementation, promotion, development and control of the National Youth Award Programme in Sri Lanka under the terms and conditions of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International for Young People. The Authority shall be affiliated to the National Youth Services Council and to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association.
