Good morning from Tallahassee! I am excited to be attending the New Clerk Academy this week to gain a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a Clerk and Comptroller. This comprehensive training, which includes a minimum of 240 hours of instruction is a requirement for all newly elected Clerks and Comptrollers.

I am truly honored and humbled to accept the position as your next Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. This is a responsibility I do not take lightly, and I am committed to serving our community with integrity, transparency, and dedication.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the citizens of Citrus County for your trust and confidence in me. Your support throughout this journey has been incredible, and I am eager to continue working on your behalf to ensure that the Clerk's role in local government and the statutory duties placed on this office are carried out in the most efficient and effective manner.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement. To my campaign team and volunteers, thank you for your hard work and dedication. This victory is as much yours as it is mine. Together, we have achieved something remarkable, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

I also want to acknowledge my predecessor for her years of service and dedication to this office. Her contributions have laid a strong foundation, and I am committed to building upon that legacy while bringing fresh ideas and new energy to the role.

As your Clerk of Court, I pledge to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. I am committed to transparency and accountability in all aspects of our office's operations. We will work tirelessly to ensure that every citizen has access to the information and services they need.

I am excited about the opportunities ahead and the chance to make a positive impact in Citrus County. Together, we can strengthen our justice system, improve access to court services, and ensure that our office is a model of excellence in public service.

Today I officially became qualified as a candidate for Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller by filing all the necessary paperwork with the Elections office! Thank you to all who have and are supporting me in this journey!
