The King Kennedy Awards will honor Mayor Ethan Dunbar as the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree.

A lifelong public servant and dedicated community leader, Mayor Dunbar has devoted his life to serving others through military leadership, civic engagement, and public service. After nearly 34 years of honorable service in the United States Army, he returned home to Lewisville, Arkansas, where he continues to lead with vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to community advancement.

Since being elected Mayor of Lewisville in 2018, Mayor Dunbar has worked to strengthen infrastructure, expand opportunities, and restore pride within the community he proudly calls home. His impact extends across Arkansas through his leadership in civic organizations, community initiatives, and public service efforts dedicated to improving the lives of others.

The King Kennedy Awards will honor the UAPB/AM&N Pulaski County Alumni Chapter as the 2026 Annie Abrams Community Service Award Honoree.

This honor is presented to an outstanding organization whose selfless service continues to make a lasting contribution to the community, especially within the African American community.

For 81 years, the Award-Winning UAPB/AM&N Pulaski County Alumni Chapter has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to service, scholarship, mentorship, and educational advancement. The chapter continues to create meaningful impact through student recruitment, scholarship support, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement efforts that help uplift and empower future generations.
