Ġie installat dawl ġdid fil-ġnien li jinsab fid-daħla tar-raħal, wara li l-Kunsill ra l-bżonn li dan l-ispazju pubbliku jkun aktar sigur u aċċessibbli għall-familji u r-residenti, speċjalment fil-ħinijiet ta’ filgħaxija.

Fl-istess waqt, ittieħdet attenzjoni speċjali biex jintgħażlu sistemi tad-dawl effiċjenti li jħarsu lejn l-ambjent 🌍

Yesterday, the Main Gallery of Riħ id-Deheb Historical House & Natural Grotto was transformed into a vibrant clay modelling atelier for children as it welcomed the first group of students from Gozo College Żebbuġ Primary attending "The Art of Food: A Clay Modelling Workshop", led by artist and art educator Mario Cassar.

The workshop was organised by the Żebbuġ Local Council in collaboration with the Gozo Regional Council and Gozo College, as part of the official celebrations for Gozo European Region of Gastronomy 2026.

For a few hours, the historic house museum came alive with creativity, laughter, and imagination as the children explored different types of food and discovered how to model them in clay. The young participants enthusiastically shaped their ideas into colourful creations, leaving everyone impressed by the remarkable works they produced.

🇬🇧 Extension of Medical Service

The Żebbuġ Gozo Local Council informs the public that a new doctor service will be introduced at the Marsalforn Community Centre.

The service will commence on Wednesday, 6th May 2026, and will be available as follows:

📅 Every Wednesday
🕚 Between 11:00am and 12:00pm
📍 At the new Community Centre, Triq Santa Marija, Marsalforn (next to the Qbajjar promenade)

Residents are kindly requested to present their Identity Card.

This service represents another important step in strengthening and improving the services offered to our community.
