Enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) has been suspended, but it has not been overturned and remains law. This means that there are no pending deadlines for compliance with the CTA, but this could change. Join us for a presentation on what is happening with the CTA. Know what the preliminary injunction means, what could happen and how your Business will need to comply if the preliminary injunction is lifted. Join us for this free online Legal Talk about the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and how it can apply to small businesses. The CTA is in effect, and it applies to all businesses in the U.S. The real question is: does your business need to comply? If it does and you don’t, the civil penalties are $591/day. If you have no idea what this is about and you own a business, you NEED to come to this seminar. If you think you have complied already, do you know what changes were made in October 2024? It may affect your previous filing. If you get you your report wrong, the same penalties of $591/day apply. If your business has dissolved in the last year, you may still need to comply with the CTA.

The program uses educational and therapeutic services to assist inmates in making decisions to avoid alcohol and drug use in the future. This Legal Talk will be led by Michael Vaughan.
