For this coming fiesta sa Lungsod, one of the activities is every barangay should represent their BAHAY KUBO with Garden on it as it titles as AGRI-AQUA community. Barangay Cayontor represent for the 1st judging competition their BAHAY KUBO, with a welcoming theme " BOLOS KANO".

Its a warmth welcome to all of us, you see beautiful view inside and outside our booth. Promoting of peace and Harmony as it reflection of our barangay.

Together we worked as team/as barangay we produced as beautiful as that, initiative by our active punong barangay with the cooperations of the officials its a alluring result.

BLGU-Cayontor officials actively participated and highly empowered in joining the 2 days seminar for Barangay New Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) for BARANGAY

The said seminar discussed the following:
-local Governance framework and legal Basis
-Barangay Based Institutions
-Nature of Volunteerism
-Barangay Agenda for Governance and Development (B-AGAD)
-The BDP and CapDEV
-Barangay Budget
-Public Ethics and Accountability
-DILG and Its PPA's For Barangay
-Basics of RA 7160

BLGU-Cayontor, Kauswagan Lanao del Norte joined the nationwide" Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program" that suggested and commanded by our Pres. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. To all LGU's and Barangay Unit.

Whereas, participated by all Barangay Officials, Bpat, BNS, BHW, Lupon tagapamayapa (Kp) and the residents of the said barangay.

The community "Clean up Drive" was said to happened in the community of Barangay Cayontor, the hilly and foresty barangay.

It was conducted on January 6,2024( Saturday ) from 6:00 a.m early in the morning until 11:00 oclock. It was meaningful for our barangay to be clean, neat and greeny barangay for this early year 2024.

In connected with the Memorandum Circular No.2024-1 for also known as ( KALINISAN KALINGA at INISYATIBO para sa kalinisan ng BAYAN ) launched by DILG, the Department of the Local Government under the administration of MARCOS bagong pilipinas.
