Feeling French? Celebrate Bastille Day in the neighborhood of French Creole aristocracy! The 2026, 19th Annual Faubourg St. John Merchant's Bastille Day Block Party will be on Saturday, July 11th , 2026, between 5 PM and 9 PM. Neighborhood merchants will have food and beverages for sale and there will be an arts market and Children's activities. Get you costumes out for the costume contest! Prizes for the best Marie Antoinette or Napoleon costume. The Costume contest will take place early, around 5:30 PM.

Gazinti featuring Audrey LeCrone will provide lively, Jazzy tunes for your dancing and listening pleasures

Bring your dancing shoes, chairs, your friends and relatives! There will be live music between
5 PM and 9 PM.

District A is on Tuesday, June 16th at the Gernon Brown Recreation Center.
They will provide information on the water system, Water Quality Master Plan and will introduce the Executive Director, Randy Hayman to the community.
