Virginia launches statewide clean energy financing program

This is a good overview of my C-PACE legislation (HB1325) that passed the 2022 Session w/ bipartisan support (72-28; 40-0). It now provides additional options for localities to work with commercial real estate developers to install energy-efficient measures in their buildings, including stormwater management, updated HVAC and insulation, solar panels, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Sierra Club Virginia Chapter Virginia League of Conservation Voters Mike Turner - Ashburn Supervisor

The program helps commercial real estate install energy efficient measures to their buildings.

Great turnout for the Dulles Area Democrats breakfast and panel discussion on voting and elections in Virginia! Remember, Virginia went from the 49th most difficult state to cast a ballot to #12 in the nation. Our democracy is now more open for citizens to legally and safely exercise their most fundamental right in a democracy - the right to vote.

Loudoun County Bar Association makes two judicial recommendations

This week the bipartisan delegation representing the 20th judicial circuit will be conducting interviews for appointments to the Circuit Court and the General District Court. Under the Virginia Constitution, the General Assembly has the responsibility for interviewing and electing state judges that will be fair in their interpretation and application of the law.

Attorney William R. Fitzpatrick and Judge Matthew Parke Snow have been recommended by the Loudoun County Bar Association for 20th Circuit general district and circuit court appointments, respectively.

Today I was interviewed by NBC4 and Susan Hogan about EV rebates, EV infrastructure, and EV manufacturing opportunities across the Commonwealth. We had a great discussion about the ongoing work to fund my previously passed EV rebate program, which has been identified as the most equitable EV program in the nation. With over $1.9bn in year-end surpluses, it is my hope that the Governor will fund the the rebate program and help provide long-term inflation relief to Virginians.

Please explain the purpose of HB-1980. You are making colleges spend money with no real purpose, when there is so much discussion on the cost of higher education. You cannot fix history. Money is not the answer. Instead of asking the colleges to figure out what to do, come up with your own ideas. I am ashamed to say you are a retired "reserve" officer. I am a retired Naval Officer also. But not reserve.
I hope you all aren't really going to go down this path, shipmate:
Hello, where can I find information on testing in NOVA? All testing, free, with or without insurance, by appointment only, no Doctors order needed, antibody testing. I’m seeing so many posts in local groups asking about testing. The answers are pretty vague such as “I think you can get it in DC or Arlington”, “I think you have to pay for it and pay a separate lab”, “you can only be tested with a doctors order”. It seems this information should be more accessible. Thanks
Del. Reid - can you please ask VDOT to mill and repave Shellhorn Rd by Home Depot in Ashburn? It’s an absolute pothole-ridden and cracked mess. Thank you.

So just curious you had thousands of law abiding gun owners outside the Capital today in Richmond most of them with the scary AR-15 and yet nothing happened except a peaceful protest of Anti 2A gun laws. So the real question now is who’s side are you on?
What are you going to do about the assault weapons ? Are you for impeaching our President ?
Hmmmmmmmm!
I am beyond incensed that Minority Leader Eileen Filler-Corn is denying the very credible women accusing LG Justin Fairfax of sexual assault the opportunity to confront him in a hearing. This is inconceivable, especially in light of the electric events of last fall that were nationally characterized by and . It’s humiliating and embarrassing to all Virginia citizens, especially women, that these women are getting more respect on national television than they are in the Virginia legislature. I hope, and expect, that you will stand up and address this unfortunate situation!
THANK YOU delegate Reid for supporting the end of Restraint & Seclusion!!!!!
Delegate Reid, I was just made aware of the vote regarding late term abortion up to 40 weeks in Virginia. I’d like to know what was your stance and how did you vote?
Please support this!
