Under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Uttarakhand allotted its second One Station One Product (OSOP) stall, which was inaugurated on 22 August 2026 at Haridwar Railway Station for Mrs. Reena, a Divyangjan artisan from the Tailor trade.

The stall showcases Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage through Pahadi topis, Jute bags and other locally crafted products. It received an overwhelming response from the public on its first day, promoting local craftsmanship and supporting Divyangjan artisans.

MSME DFO Guwahati organised a PM Vishwakarma Awareness Programme on Branding and Marketing at Pabitora Haat, Marigaon, Assam, on 11.08.2026.

The programme focused on AI training, e-commerce, digital payments, Udyam registration and other schemes and initaitves of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India.

MSME DFO Guwahati celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15.08.2026 at its office premises. The National Flag was hoisted by the Director, MSME DFO Guwahati. The programme was attended by officers, staff and their family members.

ক্ষুদ্ৰ, লঘু আৰু মজলীয়া উদ্যোগ উন্নয়ন আইন (MSMED Act) ২০০৬ চনত অধিসূচিত কৰা হৈছিল আৰু ইয়াৰ প্ৰণয়নৰ ২০ বছৰ সম্পূৰ্ণ হৈছে।

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026, passed by the Lok Sabha on 7th August, 2026, subsequent to its passing by the Rajya Sabha on 3rd August, 2026.
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act (MSMED Act) was notified in 2006 and has completed 20 years of its enactment.

The meeting focused on strengthening inter-departmental media coordination for effective dissemination of Central Government schemes and initiatives.
