Proud to support Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon and the Right to Representation Act. Every child and family deserves access to legal representation when navigating the child welfare system, and this bill takes an important step toward protecting their rights and dignity. Thank you, Rep. Scanlon, for standing up for families and for fairness in our courts.

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05) today introduced the Right to Representation Act, to ensure children and families have access to legal representation to protect their rights when they must navigate the complex child welfare system.

Grateful to Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Rep. Lisa Borowski and Rep. Jennifer O'Mara for taking the time to engage directly with our community. These conversations matter, and it’s encouraging to see such a strong commitment to transparency, accessibility, and public service.

Thank you for listening, answering questions, and continuing to advocate for Delaware County. Looking forward to keeping the dialogue going.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were hard-won and must never be taken for granted.

One of the most meaningful ways we can honor their legacy is by participating in our democracy. Voting, staying informed, and showing up for our communities are not just rights—they are responsibilities. This Memorial Day, let’s commit to carrying forward the values they fought to protect. Make a plan to vote, encourage a friend to get involved, and continue the work of building a stronger, more engaged community. 🇺🇸🗳️

Out in the community today, our Democratic candidate for State Representative is thanking voters and hearing directly from the people she hopes to serve. This is the kind of leadership we need—present, engaged, and committed. We’re excited for the day you take this energy to Harrisburg!

Delco showed up. 🗳️

On a brutally hot Election Day, more than a million Pennsylvanians cast their ballots—and right here at home, voters made their voices heard in a big way.

Mail-in voters came through too, with about 77% of requested ballots returned. That’s strong turnout!

Locally, the biggest headline: Judy Trombetta has unseated longtime Rep. Greg Vitali in the 166th District. It’s a major shift for our community and sets up a new dynamic heading into November, where Trombetta will face Republican Joe Walker.

At the top of the ticket, Governor Josh Shapiro and Lt. Governor Austin Davis ran unopposed on the Democratic side, and Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon continues to have strong support here in Delco.

This is what civic engagement looks like—neighbors showing up, voting, and shaping what comes next.

Take a moment to appreciate it… then get ready. November will be here before we know it.

The stakes are high, and the work ahead is urgent. Please donate today and help fuel this critical work:

to make your voice heard.

‘Township Commissioner Kevin McCloskey, vice president of the board, was also out meeting voters. “I’ve been getting questions about it all day,” McCloskey said. “I really like Greg. He votes right on all the issues. I think he has been a great public servant. I just think the moment is calling for someone else, given the political environment we are in. Judy has proven during her time as commissioner. She gets stuff done and I think she will take that to the Legislature, and we need it right now. There is a lot of gridlock. We need someone who will fight to get things done, not just accept things the way they are.”

The first was in the Haverford-centric 166th House District (Vitali versus Trombetta) and the other was centered in Chester in the battle for the 159th House seat (Kazeem versus Kirkland).
